  • TaskMate Co is a local service that helps busy people with everyday tasks like meal prep, cleaning, home organizing, errands, and more. We connect you with reliable, background-checked Taskmates who can handle the things you don’t have time for.

    Think of us as your personal helper for life’s to-do list.

  • We currently offer services including (but not limited to):

    • Meal prep & kitchen help

    • Home cleaning & tidying

    • Errand Running (grocery pickup, returns, donation drop-offs)

    • Laundry & light organizing

    • Decluttering & organizing

    • Light household projects

    • Holiday & Seasonal decorating

    • Move-in/Move-out help

    • Custom requests (just ask!)

  • TaskMate Co currently serves the Bloomington, IN area and surrounding communities.

    We plan to expand into other college towns soon!

  • Booking is easy:

    1. Visit our website and click Book Now.

    2. Choose your service.

    3. Select your date and time.

    4. Enter your details.

    5. Confirm your booking.

    You’ll receive a confirmation once your TaskMate is assigned and reminders about your appointment.

  • We recommend booking at least 24-48 hours in advance, but same-day service may be available depending on availability.

  • Not necessarily. Many clients provide entry instructions (lockbox, door code, or key). Your comfort and security always come first.

  • You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment with no fee.

    Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may be subject to a cancellation fee.

  • Pricing depends on the service and time needed.

  • If there’s ever an issue, please contact us right away.

    We will work with you to make things right —your satisfaction is guaranteed.

  • Yes! If you love your TaskMate, you can request them for future bookings when available.

  • You should provide:

    • Cleaning & Organizing Supplies

    • Food, Supplies, Recipes, & Clear Instruction for Food Prep

    • Access to your home if you won’t be present.

    • Funds for jobs that require extra costs.

    We’ll tell you ahead of time if anything special is needed.

  • You can leave detailed notes when booking or message us directly.
    We love specifics — it helps us serve you better.

  • Please contact us within 24 hours and we’ll work with you to resolve it — whether that’s a redo, refund, or credit.

  • Yes! We specialize in helping with unique requests.
    If it’s legal, safe, and reasonable — we’ll try to make it happen.

  • For safety reasons, we do not offer:

    • Medical or personal care services

  • A Taskmate is a trusted local helper who completes tasks for clients through Taskmate Co.
    Taskmates are friendly, reliable, and enjoy helping others.

  • You must:

    • Be 18 years or older

    • Have reliable transportation

    • Have a smart phone

    • Pass a background check

    • Be dependable and professional

    • Have good communication skills

    • Have daytime availability

    • Enjoy helping people

    College students and part-time workers are encouraged to apply.

  • To apply:

    1. Visit our website and click Become a TaskMate

    2. Fill out the application form

    3. Complete a background check

    4. Attend onboarding/training

    5. Get approved and start accepting jobs

  • Yes! TaskMates set their own availability and choose when they want to work.

  • Pay varies based on service type and hours worked.
    Most TaskMates earn competitive hourly rates (tips are optional).

    Payments are made weekly or bi-weekly (depending on setup).

  • Not necessarily, but experience is always preferred. We do provide training, but you must have an interest in the area you apply.
    What matters most is:

    We will have a very strict policy on all of the above.

  • Depending on what you apply for common tasks include:

  • You can decline tasks you’re not comfortable doing. Safety always comes first.
